I don't get why people have such a hate for Paris Hilton.
Yes she is spoiled.
Yes she has made some mistakes...
but so is and has most of the American Population.
Now don't get me wrong...
The American Population isn't
as spoiled as our little Heiress...
but who cares.
Her life is brodcast to the millions
every day. She can't go pee
without being posted on TMZ.
So back to the question...

Just another pretty girl on tv to me.
I don't hate Paris Hilton. I just think it's dumb that people give her so much attention. I guess people watch her because in some way it humanizes rich people. Maybe that is why most mediocre celebrities have so much fame ( Lohan, Spears, Hilton, Ritchie) because they are shown as "people" full of mistakes and screw ups. I just think it's really silly when there are so many more interesting things and important issues to hear about then "Paris was at a club." Who cares.
Fame has a little bit of power and influence but instead of Paris using it to do some good she does dumb shit. It not like she's trying to stay out of the public eye either. Her sister is famous also but you don't here a lot about her. Why? because she's not attention hungry.

Oh...yeah...Paris Hilton,
Sorry, Paris and I have had bad blood since the break up.
I think the reason why people hate her is because they know who she is...and why? because she hangs out with celeb-faux-ties...(You know, like the kid of a celebrity, or someone who buys themselves a music and/or acting career with daddy's money, which also applies to Paris herself!).
If you want to play in the big leagues of Hollywood Limelight then you have to deal with all of the shit that people put you through, including the paparazzi,
and that is why some celebs move off into more obscure states.
Also, the drunken shit, the porno tape (One Night In Paris Whoo Whoo!), and he overall unreal public persona (I think she might actually have a brain in there somewhere, but she plays an idiot because it sells).
My personal issue with her is that she came to my mall to promote a fragrance that she probably had little to no control over developing (and why do celebs do that shit anyways? You know they don't even wear it!), and she made it nearly impossible to get off the freeway, made parking a mess, and also made some of my more desperate coworkers leave the store, which made me have to work harder.
No dislike for the person, just the disproportionate amount of media dedicated to nonsense like celebrity.
I like Paris and all the peeps in Us Weekly.
